Our woods area is somewhere that the whole community can enjoy and we know a lot of families spend time there- which we are delighted about. Sadly we discovered this when we went down to the woods this morning. Yes, it was an old table however whoever stood on it and broke it has destroyed a piece of equipment we use on every woods visit. It was more than likely an accident and not done on purpose- but why not send us a message or let us know somehow instead of us having to discover it at the start of a play session?!

📣 Primary 1 and ELC applications are now open!

Registration for P1 and ELC runs from today (Mon 12 January) for two weeks.

You'll need:-
📜 Birth certificate
🏠 Proof of Address
3️⃣ Setting choices (for ELC only)

The allocation of places is NOT first come first serve so parents can apply at anytime throughout the two-week period.

Today, we’re sharing more simple tips from the Before Words resources to help support your child’s language development—perfect for parents with children in the early years! 🗣️

💡 Tip: Play and talk together face-to-face! This helps your child focus on what you’re saying. 🌟

🧩 Pause and wait for them to respond—it gives them a chance to think and express themselves. ⏳

🔁 Repeat their words and add new ones to expand their vocabulary! This way, they learn naturally through play.
