📣 Primary 1 and ELC applications are now open!

Registration for P1 and ELC runs from today (Mon 12 January) for two weeks.

You'll need:-
📜 Birth certificate
🏠 Proof of Address
3️⃣ Setting choices (for ELC only)

The allocation of places is NOT first come first serve so parents can apply at anytime throughout the two-week period.

🌟 Keep the conversation going with your little one!

Today, we’re sharing more simple tips from the Before Words resources to help support your child’s language development—perfect for parents with children in the early years! 🗣️

💡 Tip: Play and talk together face-to-face! This helps your child focus on what you’re saying. 🌟

🧩 Pause and wait for them to respond—it gives them a chance to think and express themselves. ⏳

🔁 Repeat their words and add new ones to expand their vocabulary! This way, they learn naturally through play.

Please take a look at this survey from Moray Council. It's an opportunity to have a say in their sustainability plan for Speyside ASG, it seems to be the idea from some years ago of the closure of small rural schools and having a hub school.
