I love snuggling down to read a good book.📚

My fondest memories of listening stories was sitting on my Grandfather's knee,👴 when I was a little girl, and sharing a book together. That was a very long time ago now but it helped to cement my love of books. Every book you read to your child will help them to develop a love of reading and help to build their vocabulary, it has so many benefits. ❤️

There are times in all of our lives when things can get a little much. Practising the ability to ground ourselves can be very beneficial in helping us to cope with lifes stresses.

Children are no exception. Teaching children the importance of grounding can help then when they are finding work a little challenging. It helps to ease the mind and calm the senses so they are able to approach any difficulties with a more peaceful mind.

Before a child can write they need the strength to hold a pencil. Fine motor activities help to strengthen the muscles in the hand and give them the skills to develop a confident, comfortable pencil grip, which in turn will allow children to flow with their writing, once they know which sounds to write. Never under estimate the value to play and fine motor activities. 🙂
