We have the Animal Zoo booked with "Off The Scale Experience" who will be bringing a whole range of friends with him to share with everyone!

Job description
We are looking to recruit a trainee play worker/ early years practitioner to our team here at the Wendyhouse Nursery Kirriemuir. This is a One year apprenticeship, leading to an SVQ3 qualification.
We are looking for someone with a passion for childcare, with a caring nature and enthusiasm to learn more about childcare and their education, to join our team at the Nursery.

JOB SUMMARY
Main Duties Include
Assist with planning, preparing and delivering quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment.
Providing comprehensive care for the children.
Setting up the play experiences for the children to explore.
Providing refreshments and ensuring that hygiene, health and safety standards are met.
Administering first aid when necessary.
Consulting with children and involving them in planning activities.
Encouraging parental involvement in the nursery.
Facilitating good communication with all members of the organisation and parents.
Undertaking appropriate and relevant training - SVQ Level 3
Keeping the work environment healthy, safe and secure. Ensure high level of cleanliness following our cleaning programme.
Working within the framework of the nursery's policies and procedures.
Willing to join SSSC and Disclosure Scotland for relevant checks.

Nursery Manager

Based in Angus and not to far from Dundee, we have a vacancy for a Manager at The Wendyhouse Children’s Nursery Kirriemuir

Relocation, with support will be considered.

You will have autonomy and accountability for the smooth running of the nursery. Responsible for providing high quality, forward thinking, inspiring childcare and education, you will liaise regularly with parents, local authorities, and colleagues, so communication is key. People management and financial understanding are also important aspects of the role, however full training will be provided.
