Sorry been a peedie while since our last post.

It’s been a busy time but our move to our ‘new hoose’ went well and our youngest children are settling in to their new play spaces well.

Here is our new logo for our new beginnings. We wanted to try and combine the strynd logo with the willow tree logo and we think the new logo reflects our two settings coming together well. Thanks must go to Drew at The Orcadian for helping us with our vision.

This was moving week and the staff have been working hard to empty both the Willow Tree and The ‘old’ Strynd and set up our beautiful ‘new’ Strynd building. The work is ongoing but it’s certainly taking shape and looks great.

We are all looking forward to welcoming families back to nursery from next week and our 3-5’s will join us in just a few weeks time.

In the meantime here is a pic of our ‘new’ Strynd Nursery team taken during the week when we were all surrounded by boxes!!

We are keeping the photos coming and thanks to everyone that’s shared photos and memories with us so far - keep them coming we love reading them and seeing the photos!!

Here are some golden oldies from where we started in the Cavern and the old KGS dinner hall which was replaced by the building we are just about to move out of next week.

As one door closes another one opens…..

The three of us have so many happy memories of our time behind the wall!!

Collectively our length of service is older than the nursery itself 😂. Alison has been working at the strynd for 32 years, Jackie for 22 and Fiona has been there for 19 years.

We have so much to take with us but we won’t forget to take all the things we can’t pack into a box!!.

Thank you to all the families and children that have been part of our journey so far. We look forward to making more memories and friends along the way in our new home 🏡
