After a 10 year hiatus our Hayston Golf Club junior team returned to action at Clydebank and Distric golf club!

A great effort from our boys tonight with 3 of the 4 matches going down the 18th! A special shoutout to our top 2 players going out against two 3 handicappers and putting up a great showing.

An unfortunate 3-1 loss but some great matches and great golf on display from both sides.

A special shout out to Stuart Goodfellow our junior convenor who has organised the junior teams and these matches himself and who gave up his Friday night to support the team, a fantastic ambassador for the club 🏌️‍♂️🏌️‍♂️

I don't know about you but as a Mcilroy fan I'm nervvvvvy for tonight... but what a spectacle this event is yet again this year 🪄🪄

Anyway onto the day 3 prizes and we have a tie between David Boyle and James Finaly who both win a sleeve of Callaway Golf Europe Supersoft balls courtesy of sparkling 65's from Scottie Scheffler and Cameron Young!

What a Masters Friday 😮‍💨 great day for all you Rory fans, a back 9 of pure class and magic 🪄 An even better day for Justine Fulton who wins another sleeve of Callaway Golf Europe Supersoft golf balls thanks to Rory's second 9 birdie blitz!

Best finishing amateur this year was Ethan Fang who won a dozen Wilson Golf Duo soft golf balls!
