Medlar-with-Wesham Church of England Primary School

Year 6 enjoyed a guided walk round Wesham learning about its history and finished at the railway station. Thank you to Peter for giving up his time and we look forward to seeing our artwork at the station.

We have been learning all about healthy eating in Rainbow Fish class. We looked at the different colour and texture. We prepped our food by chopping and peeling but tasting was definitely our favourite part!

Wow what an evening of entertainment, laughs, tears, smiles, cheers - we had it all in our 2026 Wesham’s Got Talent!
Children we are so proud of you all! Staff who helped front and back stage we are blessed to have you and friends and family thank you for coming and helping us raise some money for our school too!
Well done to our 1st, 2nd and 3rd place acts we can’t wait to celebrate with everyone on Friday in Worship and a rumour has it - it’s not the last we have seen of Beat Feet with year 6!!! 👏🏻🤩

Expressive Arts Week! We are MUSICIANS!

Some of our Year 5 enthusiastic musicians attended a workshop at Ribby with Wrea School and performed with other music enthusiasts from different schools on Tuesday afternoon.
We were blown away with our children creating a fabulous performance in such a short time.

EXPRESSIVE ARTS WEEK Seahorse Class are our dancing superstars, showing resilience and confidence on the huge stage at the Marine Hall Fleetwood.
Well done to everyone! A huge thank you to the Seahorse Class Team - especially Mrs McSpirit for choreography and rehearsing with the children and to all the parents for helping with costumes and hair styles!!

The rehearsals for Wesham’s Got Talent have been in full swing during our Expressive Arts Week in our school.
We can’t wait to see the finalists perform and show off their talents on Wednesday at 5pm in our church. Everyone is welcome to join us (£2 per entry cash in the door). We look forward to seeing you there - Christ Church Wesham.

CLUB DAY 2026!

Well we started in the rain - but finished in the sunshine with Brindle Band playing us all back into Church to crown the Rose Queen with Reverend Jono.

So many smiles and waves from the children and all our families enroute, it warmed our hearts!

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came along and walked we had 51 children from our school take part - which was fabulous!

It's always a special day coming together to show that we are part of our school and church family on this walk of faith. Another memory making event in the life of our school, which couldn't happen without our supportive families.

This week some of our children visited Pear Tree House Care Home to design football shirts and spend time with the residents. It was lovely to see the children having conversations with the residents and bring smiles to their faces. The children were wonderful ambassadors for our school.
