Huge thank you to the The Rotary Club of Kirkham and Rural Fylde for awarding two of our children with Good Citizens Awards for their commitment as School Councillors and Junior Road Safety Ambassadors. They were awarded certificates and prize money from the Rotary Club for their outstanding efforts over the past two years.

Over the holidays if you have the opportunity pop into the Train Station and see the wonderful art work our Year 6's have completed all about 'Wesham Through Time'. ⏰

As we come to the end of another wonderful school year, I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to all of our families for the very kind cards, gifts and messages that we have been receiving in school. Your generosity and thoughtfulness are truly appreciated. While such kindness is never expected and certainly never taken for granted, it means a great deal to all of us and is a lovely reminder of the strong partnership we share with our families.

Thank you once again for your continued support throughout the year. We wish all our children, families, staff and community a happy, restful and safe summer holiday. Enjoy a well-deserved break from the school routine and cherish the precious time with family and friends. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in September for another exciting year ahead. Thank you to our fabulous Medlar with Wesham C of E School PTFA volunteers for the amazing Beach themed disco that we had in honour of Year 6 and the end of school year. We sang, we danced and so much fun was had together. Thank you to all our families who supported this event we are extremely grateful 🕺🏼🤩💃🏼🏖️🏝️

Today we had a wonderful picnic lunch prepared by our kitchen to celebrate our Year 6 Leavers. The children in Rainbow Fish have really enjoyed celebrating with their buddies today too. 👏🏻🤩

Well Year 6 we promised you would get your water fight and slip and slide in the end! 👏🏻💦🔫
It was wonderful to see you having so much fun together on your last week, although I do think Mrs Davey enjoyed it most of all 😂

We are so very impressed with the progress our children have made in just a few short weeks in their cheer leading after school club. We will be running this again in the Autumn Term so please look out for the club letter to sign up. Well done to the children for showing determination and resilience to learn this new skill.

Shark class have enjoyed their final trip as Medlar with Wesham pupils to Thornton Health and Fitness Centre, ten pin bowling. A competitive and enjoyable afternoon and thank goodness for air con! Shark class, it’s been a pleasure!
