Another brilliant week at NW1 Kirkham! 🌟

MINIS 💫
🎶 Singing: Exploring vocal sirens and following visual pitch guides.
💃 Dance: Continuing to build our Street Dance routine.
🎭 Drama: Learning and performing a whole poem, developing memory, expression and performance skills!

JUNIORS ⭐️
🎶 Continuing work on New Philosophy, developing vocals and line retention.
🎭 Expanding our theatrical vocabulary and exploring ‘Role on the Wall’ to develop characterisation and think about what’s happening both inside and outside a character.

A huge well done to all our Kirkham students! You’ve worked so hard! ❤️✨

We’ve had a fantastic day of dancing, singing and working hard at NW1 Kirkham! 🎭

MINIS 🩰🎶

Our Minis have been busy working on their street dance number to ‘Bye Bye Bye’ with Amy for our upcoming show! They’ve also enjoyed some lovely solo singing work with Emma Norman. 🎤✨

JUNIORS 💪🎶

Our Juniors have been working incredibly hard this week, focusing on their dance technique and stamina. We’ve been introducing longer cardio warm-ups to help build their fitness and endurance, with a little end-of-term goal in sight… front splits! 🤸‍♀️

They’ve also been working on a commercial routine with Sophie, as well as enjoying a lovely singing session with our new teacher, Emma Norman, working on ‘My New Philosophy’. 🎶

What a productive Saturday! We’re so proud of the effort everyone is putting in! ❤️

🗣 NW1 KIRKHAM TEAM UPDATE! 🗣

We’re so excited to announce that Emma Norman will be taking on a new role at NW1 Kirkham this Autumn Term as our Vocal Coach! 🎶

After working closely with our Kirkham students last term while preparing for NW1’s Grand Night, Emma has already built a fantastic connection with the students and knows exactly how to bring out their best.

This term, Emma will be working with our NW1 Kirkham students to develop their vocal technique, confidence, performance skills and musicality, helping every student grow as a performer and find their voice.

We’re so excited to have Emma taking on this role and can’t wait to see what she brings to the classroom this term! ❤️🎶

Welcome to the team, Emma!
