Meet Phil Crennell, woodwizard who makes hardwood stools for me…..
Phil lives in and cares for a beautiful conifer woodland……
His wood-wizard helpers help to manage the woodland in their own unique ways…..
Stacking and drying wood for the winter in the neatest eye catching ways….
The woodland becomes more magical each time I visit……
Phil and I love to work together on the hardwood stools he makes for me…..
And Phil is often introducing me to interesting new ways forward…..
Phil makes beautiful uniquely finished hardwood furniture of his own…..
Not from his conifer woodland but from estates around and about which his other woody wizards supply to him……
Phil makes me blank hardwood stool tops so I can upholster them…..
In his busy complicated workshop full of his wizardry machines…..
He makes me all sorts of sizes and stool tops shapes…..
I tuft a template to fit just right on the tops and pin it on for a nice cushioned seat…..
I’m forever developing on my craft so this little beauty has a naturally dyed Scottish Blackface Wool top….
Phil and I are very proud of what we do and what we achieve together…..
