Wemyss School of Needlework

Wemyss School of Needlework The Wemyss School of Needlework is an archive, museum and shop in Fife, Scotland. The WSN opened here at its purpose built home in 1880.

The school has always been looked after by the Wemyss family and handed down through seamstresses and following refurbishment is open again for classes. A selection of our extensive embroidered textile archive is on display permanently and open to the public on the days listed. We also sell embroidery materials and take commissions.

Please note that we will only be open on a Wednesday 10 - 5pm from 15th of April.
We will also be closed on Wednesday 22nd for a group visit.
Apologies for opening hours being greatly reduced but changes are afoot which will eventually be beneficial to all.
