Become a Playhouse Performer and get the chance to perform in a Winter and Spring production! Whether you choose Musical Theatre, Acting or both, you will work with London Professionals towards exciting shows throughout the year! Our upcoming shows are Blood Brothers the play and All Shook Up the musical!

Auditions details are below:

Musical Theatre (Winter production - All Shook Up!)

Audition Date: Saturday 24th August 2024
Rehearsals Start: 6th September 2024 (Every Friday)
Show Dates: 16th - 18th January

Acting (Winter production - Blood Brothers The Play)

Audition Date: Sunday 25th August 2024
Rehearsals Start: 2nd September (Every Monday)
Show Dates: 13th - 16th November 2024

Rehearsals are weekly and are 2 hours long. Then four weeks before the show we will be having aditional rehearsals during the weekends.

The first audition will be to become a Playhouse Performer, this will be a fun workshop to get to know us and showcase your talents and the performance skills you can bring to the company. Once you become a Playhouse Performer, we will be casting the Musical/Play in house. This means that when you become a Playhouse Performer you are guaranteed to take part in our upcoming 2 musicals, 2 plays or both!

Next year we will also be putting on Shrek The Musical and a Christmas panto! These productions will be auditioned separately and are not part of 'The Playhouse Performer' package.

Note - If you have already signed up to take part in either acting or musical theatre then you do not have to sign up again.

With Ghost the Musical Tickets going on sale shortly, here's a reminder of what's coming up from Limelight Productions and our Youth and Kids groups.

🐣🦆🐔 First up is 'Honk' - 19th and 20th April. This lovable tale of the Ugly Duckling is presented by our Limelight Kids Group, at The Carnegie Hall Studio Theatre. Only 30 tickets remaining,

🇫🇷💚🇫🇷Next is the West End Smash Musical 'Les Miserables' presented by our Limelight Carnegie Youth Theatre group. Running at the Carnegie Hall from 19th to 22nd June 2024. Tickets selling FAST!

🩵🪽🩵In October Limelight Productions take to the Alhambra stage with 'GHOST The Musical', based on the hit 90's Movie starring Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore. Tickets available to buy SOON!

🩷🖤🩷 And looking forwards to 2025, Limelight Productions presents the ever popular Musical 'Grease' in October 25, with our Youth Group leading the way with the fabulously Pink musical 'Legally Blonde' next June.

Limelight Productions Youth Group, Limelight Carnegie Youth Theatre are delighted to publicly announce their show for June 2025...................

🩷💜🩷💜🩷💜🩷Legally Blonde🩷💜🩷💜🩷💜🩷

Carnegie Youth Theatres last production before Joining the Limelight family was Legally Blonde which came down just days before Lockdown began in 2020. Limelight Productions also performed Legally Blonde in 2016, so it's apt that this show brings the Musical Full Circle for Limelight Carnegie Youth Theatre.

So in 2025, our Youth Group are going Legally Pink with Legally Blonde, don't miss out June 2025!

It’s nearly showtime for KYMT’s production of ‘Sister Act’ starting this evening and I can’t wait to see all these lovely young women perform this week. Best of luck to the rest of my pupils I’ve not yet mentioned …. Lucy Gathercole who’s the playing the lead ‘Deloris Van Cartier’, Emma Balfour and Sophie Fenelon both playing ‘Mother Superior’, Lorelle Brodie as ‘Sister Mary Robert’ and Louise Balfour as ‘Sister Mary Lazarus’. Also included in the ensemble is Darcy Hutchinson. Also best of luck to everyone in the cast including Emma Paterson also playing the lead part. See you all later! 🤩🎭🎵🤩🎭🎵

🤩🎵🎭🎵Super proud to say that one of my pupils, Ewan MacGuire has only went and secured the lead part as ‘Charlie’ in the Scottish amateur premiere of ‘Charlie & the Chocolate Factory’ at the Carnegie Hall in Dunfermline in May. Very well deserved Ewan, all your hard work and commitment is starting to pay off 👏 🍫 🎫 🎵🎭😃👏

LAMA is looking for 2 young people to play the part of Chip in our upcoming production of Beauty and The Beast!

Tuesday 7th May - Saturday 11th May 2024 (including a Saturday matinee performance)

The young people needs to be 10-12 Years old.
The part is double cast, each young person will be doing 3 performances each

Auditions will be Tuesday 13th February 2024 at The Centre, Leven at 6.30pm
