Here in the birthplace of Andrew Carnegie and Adam Smith I have been inspired to empower the people of Scotland to live purposeful, abundant, and fulfilled lives in this beautiful country rich in spirit-filled wisdom. Through Mary Morrissey's mentoring it has become clearer than ever to me that we have the capacity to create lives we would truly love to live. Beyond setting goals that we know how to achieve, we can life much fuller, expanded, abundant lives - the lives of our dreams! - even though that may seem impossible now to us in our current circumstances. Even before being ignited with Mary's accumulated wisdom I was already following my dreams, albeit in a haphazard and unsupported way.
Boldly leaving a successful science career I had flourished in despite all the odds, I followed a dream to live on a Scottish island deeply connected to the land and spirit. Mull and Iona became my home for many years despite not knowing at the onset that this is what would unfold for me. Living this idyllic lifestyle brought to the surface my desire to pursue life as an artist and this took me back to the mainland where I have become successful in developing new printing methods and have brought art and science together in the study of the wild botanical world and the earth in which it grows. This brings me much joy and creative expression and yet I aways knew that there was something more for me.
With the shocking death of my sister I determined to pick up the plan I'd had in my 20s to become a life coach and empower others to live more fulfilling, expansive lives full of joy, peace, and abundance. This is often contrary to the ideas and structures we meet with daily in society, yet it could be our daily reality. My mission is to be part of a growing movement of people ready to live more expansively in love and compassion. This is now needed more than ever to transform the pain and anguish that we and our planet have been experiencing. Mary Morrissey's spirit, wisdom, and compassion spoke to me above all the other voices. Her wisdom is harnessed and organised from our wisest minds through her own life experiences and through her own mentor's teachings and has been developed over decades into her proven, reliable, and reproducible system.
