📦✨ Cardboard Box Day at Tiger Tots! ✨📦

Next Friday 10th July, we're having a Cardboard Box Day across the nursery!

We're challenging our children (and staff!) to use their imaginations to turn ordinary cardboard boxes into extraordinary creations!

We'd love your help! If you have any clean cardboard boxes of any shape or size that you're happy to donate, please bring them into nursery throughout the week.

Every box will help inspire another fantastic creation!

The Met Office have issued an amber weather warning starting today and ending Thursday night.

Please can we reiterate the importance of the notice below and remind all of our families to keep safe and hydrated as much as possible. 🧡

☀️ As the warmer weather begins to arrive, we kindly ask parents to ensure children come to nursery prepared for lots of outdoor play and sunshine!

Please provide suitable outdoor clothing, plenty of spare clothes and appropriate outdoor footwear (no open-toe shoes please).

We also ask that children bring a sunhat and, if preferred, their own sun cream — although sun cream is available at nursery.

To help keep belongings safe and avoid items getting misplaced, we would really appreciate everything being clearly labelled.

We are incredibly proud to share some of the wonderful feedback received during our recent Local Authority Quality Assurance and Mentor Reviews.

The reviewers highlighted the warm, nurturing environment we provide, recognising that our children are happy, confident, independent and motivated to learn. They commented on the high levels of wellbeing throughout the nursery and noted that there was "lots of laughter to be heard" during their visits.

Our team were praised for the caring relationships they build with children and families, their dedication to supporting every child's individual needs and the rich learning opportunities available both indoors and in our fantastic outdoor environments.

One of the most meaningful comments was that children at Tiger Tots feel secure, valued and at home within our setting.

Thank you to our amazing staff team for their continued hard work and dedication and to our wonderful families for the trust and support you show us every day.

We have had word from one of our parents that, thanks to the incredible support of our Tiger Tots community, we have collected enough ring pulls to help the family in need PLUS another SIX families!

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated ring pulls and helped make a real difference to families who need it most. We are so proud of what our Tiger Tots community can achieve when we come together. 🐯✨

💛 Little Ring Pulls, Big Difference 💛

One of our Tiger Tots families needs our support. We are collecting ring pulls to help raise funds towards a wheelchair for a child in need.

If you have any spare ring pulls at home, please bring them into nursery and place them in our collection point. Every single one helps and your kindness means so much.

Congratulations to our wonderful Erin for being named May's Employee of the Month! 💛

Erin brings so much warmth, patience and positivity into everything she does. She has an incredible way of connecting with our preschool children and creates a calm, supportive and engaging environment where they feel safe to learn and grow.

She is especially brilliant in her work with our SEND children, always taking the time to understand their individual needs and ensuring they feel fully included, supported and celebrated every step of the way.
