Stood watering our apple and plum trees I found myself reflecting on how much has grown over the years.

When we first started, these trees were just saplings. They needed patience, protection and care. Day by day, season by season, we nurtured them, trusting that one day they would bear fruit.

“Ange & Rosie’s Dream Team” were it all began—two women surrounded by incredible people who believed in what we were trying to create. 🌳🍎

May may not remember every moment, but we’ll always remember hers.

Behind every smile is a lifetime of memories, love, and a story worth celebrating. Dementia is part of May’s journey, but it will never define who she is.

Every laugh, every conversation, and every moment shared with her is a privilege we’ll never take for granted. ✨

Once I was …

There was a time when they had careers, routines, passions and dreams.

They were fathers.
Mothers.
Nurses.
Engineers.
Members of the armed forces.
Teachers.
Friends.
The people everyone turned to.

Then dementia came along.

It may have stolen memories.
It may have changed the way they communicate.
It may have made parts of their journey harder.

But it did not take away who they are.

Because dementia is part of their story…
it is not their identity.

Behind every diagnosis is a lifetime of love, laughter, achievements and experiences.

They may have forgotten parts of their journey…

But we haven’t.

So let’s remember the person they have always been.
See beyond the diagnosis.
Honour their life.
Celebrate their story.

Because they are still here.
Still deserving of dignity.
Still deserving of love.

Always remember the person before the dementia.

And it begins… ✨

A huge thank you to for coming in yesterday and helping us start the journey of creating our sensory garden. They gave us so much more than advice they helped bring our vision to life 🙌🏼

We also shared a real moment of connection, as they opened up about what brought them here. It was a reminder that dementia touches so many lives, and although it’s heartbreaking, it also has a way of bringing people together as a community ❤️

This is only the beginning there’s so much more to come 🌿
