I have an insurance service background but I have always loved spending time with children. Since the birth of our daughter I have surrounded myself with children from all walks of life in play settings such as groups run by private/voluntary and local authorities and I have now discovered a great passion for developing children of all ages. daughter aged 10 and she is lively and fun loving so we are used to being as busy as bees :-D
We socialise quite a bit in playgroups all over the Ashfield/Huthwaite (covid guidelines applicable)
We love the local park as it has lots to see and do and is just a short walk from our detached home in Kirkby in Ashfield. Just as nurseries do, we plan tasks, play and activities around all cultures and link each of the sessions to ensure your child has a varied experience day on day. We believe in "Every Child Matters" and work alongside other local registered childminders who are like minded. We have an extensive portfolio which includes all the required literature for parents and carers which will enable me to work with children and their families to ensure they grow in every way :-)

I have completed my In Home Practitioners course with the Nottingham City CC
I am a member of PACEY- Professional association of childcare and early years. I have a Cache level 3 (NVQ) Children and young people's workforce. and working towards further qualifications.
