You are warmly invited to join us at our next WI meeting, when the theme for our talk will be the much-loved and sadly-missed tree at Sycamore Gap.
The presentation will begin at 7.30pm but you‘re welcome to join us from 7.00 for refreshments.

Join us THIS WEDNESDAY for a ‘Taste of Italy’ with Alberto from Provino wines.
You’ll hear all about the wine-making process, have the opportunity to taste some of Provino’s fine wines and be entertained with live music, played by Alberto & his friend Dave. All this for just £5 (free for WI members)!

We meet in the Lunesdale Hall, from 7.00pm, with the talk beginning at 7.30pm. We hope you can come!

At the next meeting of Kirkby Lonsdale WI on Wednesday 8th April, we will have the pleasure of welcoming Alberto Zambianchi, founder of ‘Provino’, importers of distinctive Italian wines.

The evening will include a talk, a wine-tasting & the chance to purchase some of Provino’s artisan wines.
All this for only £5 per guest (WI members are free as usual). Gentlemen are also welcome.

NEXT WEDNESDAY 11th March
Do join us for this peep behind the scenes of the Theatre by the Lake, Keswick.
Executive Director Simon Stephens will be sharing some fascinating insights into how creative works make the transition from ‘page to stage’.
This talk will begin at the slightly earlier time of 7.15; you’re welcome to arrive any time after 6.45 to enjoy some free refreshments.

There is no charge for WI members. For guests (including gentlemen) there is a small fee of £5. No need to book.
