The children loved choosing their materials, filling their bottles and watching the colours, shapes and glitter move around. 🌟

This activity is a great way to encourage sensory exploration, creativity, fine motor skills and curiosity while having lots of fun! 💕👏

Jigsaws are a fantastic way to develop concentration, patience, fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and problem-solving — all while having lots of fun! 🥰

🌸 BANK HOLIDAY NOTICE 🌸

A little reminder to all of our Little Bambinos families that we will be CLOSED on Monday 31st August for the Bank Holiday.

We will reopen as normal on Tuesday 1st September — and we cannot wait! 🥰💕

Tuesday is extra special as we welcome back all of our term-time-only children, as well as welcoming lots of new little faces joining our Little Bambinos family! 🐻🌈

We hope you all have a wonderful Bank Holiday weekend, and we’ll see you Tuesday! 💗

🌳🦆 A Trip to the Park! 🛝☀️

We’ve had the BEST nursery trip to the park today! 🥰

We explored the park, had lots of fun on the swings, zoomed down the slide and got very dizzy on the roundabout! 🎠😂

We even stopped to feed the ducks (and ourselves! 🤭) with some yummy bread before finding a lovely shaded spot to enjoy some nursery rhymes and a picnic together. 🧺🎶

It was such a lovely morning full of fun, laughter, fresh air and making special memories together! 💚

There’s nothing better than taking learning outdoors! Our children enjoyed building with blocks in the fresh air, using their imagination to create towers, homes and exciting structures.

Block play supports problem-solving, spatial awareness and early mathematical thinking as children explore shapes, sizes and balance. Working together also encourages communication, teamwork and turn-taking, while strengthening fine and gross motor skills.

Outdoor play provides the perfect space to think creatively, move freely and enjoy learning through play in the natural environment. What a fantastic day of building, exploring and having fun! 💚

✨ Glitter, glitter, a little bit of sand… and a whole lot of sparkle! ✨

Our children have had a delightful time exploring our beach-themed tuff tray today! 🏖️🌊

As they scooped, poured, sprinkled and explored the sand and glitter, they were developing their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination and sensory awareness. The different textures encouraged curiosity and imaginative play, while the shimmering glitter added an extra layer of excitement and wonder to their discoveries. ✨

Learning through sensory play encourages creativity, communication, problem-solving and confidence—all while having lots of fun! 🌞🐚
