What a fantastic start to the new school year at Crestwood!
Despite it being a shorter week than usual, there has already been so much to celebrate. It has been wonderful to see our pupils return looking smart, positive and ready to learn. A huge thank you to our families for ensuring that students arrived fully equipped and in the correct uniform. Your support helps us create such a positive start to the term.
Attendance has been outstanding, with the whole school achieving over 96% attendance on the first day back. With Crestwood now oversubscribed in every year group, we welcomed more pupils onto site than at any point in our school's history!
While our school community continues to grow, our commitment to knowing and supporting every child remains as strong as ever. Our pastoral team has been on hand throughout the week, helping students settle in and ensuring everyone has what they need to make a successful start to the year.
A special thank you also goes to our fantastic Buddies and Prefects, who have been helping new students find their way around and offering a friendly face to those who needed a little guidance.
This week, all pupils have also taken part in assemblies focused on the importance of upholding our core values of Respect, Resilience and Relationships, both within school and beyond the school gates. These values are at the heart of everything we do and will continue to guide us throughout the year ahead.
It has been a brilliant start, and there is a real sense of optimism and purpose around the school. Well done, Crestwood. Let's keep the momentum going!
