I adhere to the Early Years framework and focus on the seven areas of learning and development. My goal is to create a safe, enjoyable, and engaging environment for your child. I have plenty of indoor and outdoor space, along with a variety of toys for children to explore and learn. I strive to provide a home-like atmosphere where kids can have fun while they learn. I offer a range of activities f
or the children and regularly take them to toddler groups, soft play areas, the library for Rattle & Rhyme sessions and outdoor activities. OFSTED GRADE - GOOD. Why consider a childminder? A childminder cares for one or more children under the age of 8 in their home. All childminders must be registered with Ofsted, which sets the standards we must follow. We undergo regular inspections to ensure we meet these standards and are fully insured. Childminders also have their own policies and procedures in place. Choosing a childminder offers a more flexible childcare option compared to the more structured environments of day nurseries or school clubs. I am registered to care for up to six children under eight, with a maximum of three under five, and only one child under one year old. This ensures that each child receives ample individual attention—something that larger facilities often struggle to provide. In exceptional circumstances, I may be able to care for four early years children to maintain continuity of care, especially when it benefits siblings or when a parent’s work hours change. Parents understand that both they and their child will be building a relationship with a single caregiver. Recent studies indicate that children thrive in a "family" style setting, where they can connect with a consistent caregiver. Childminders can offer ongoing care for children starting from birth. They provide more flexibility since they operate from their own homes and can deliver inclusive care within the child's local community, making the most of nearby activities. According to the Families, Children and Child Care study, childminders are considered the next best option to being at home with a mother. Registered childminders have the benefit of providing high-quality care in a safe, nurturing home environment.
