As the weather was slightly cooler this morning, we were able to enjoy our Year 6 sports day.
It was a wonderful morning of competitive races and great Ascension team sprint.
Well done Year 6 - we have to wait until Friday to see which house won🏆 .

What a fantastic day we've had at Weston-super-Mare! ☀️

Although it was a scorching hot day, we made sure the children stayed cool by spending most of time in the shade under the pier. They have had the BEST day, enjoying donkey rides, delicious ice creams, building and playing in the sand, and making lots of wonderful memories with their friends.

The children have been absolutely brilliant all day and have represented our school beautifully. 💛

We're now on our way home. Let's hope the motorway is kind to us! 🤞🚍

Year 6 enjoyed a very hot and sunny fun day today. There were bouncy castles, basketball games, pizzas, ice creams, football, tennis and cricket matches, colouring sheets and even donkey rides (well maybe not real ones!) 🎉

We had a very special assembly today to celebrate receiving our Church and School Partnership Award. Our wonderful Worship Leaders led the assembly where we were presented with our award. Fr Jonathan and Sheila Freeman were also present to receive the church award. We have joined an elite group of only 10 schools in the diocese that have received this award.
We are so proud and privileged to be part of such a wonderful community.

Our families were treated to a magnificent performance of Shakespeare Rocks by our very talented Year 6 pupils tonight.
Great job everyone 👏👏👏⭐️

Today we took four teams of year 5 pupils to Summerhill School to take part in various rounds of the Maths Quiz.
Our mathematicians represented our school brilliantly, one team won the tower competition and another team came 2nd overall. Out of four prizes available, we came back with two. Fantastic performance by everyone involved, well done 👏
