Tiny Thinkers

Last week and as a part of our topic "Love is everywhere" we went to the food bank and donated lot of food items for those who need them. Our Tiny Thinkers learnt about the importance of helping others.❤️😍

In Tiny Thinkers we love to go out and explore! As a part of our methodology we are putting into practice our forest explorers planning!
We went to the forest and built a stick house after listening to a lovely story after that we all played different group games together. 🌳🌲

We want to introduce to everyone Kiki our nursery pet! The children are so excited to take care of her, we are learning how to take care of others as part of our February planning "Love is everywhere". They feed Kiki with lettuce and they also learn about healthy foods and they give her water as we need lot of water to be healthy! 🥬💦

We celebrated our Halloween workshops last month. Children and adults had lot of fun with the spooky activities that our practitioners planned!
We also had some Halloween themed goodies...🍰☕

In Little Vivaldi's the children love the natural resources! The children had to picked the flowers and leaves to then stick them on the framed sticky back plastic. 🌹🌿 With this activity the children used their senses to explore the different flowers and leaves, they smelled them and touched them. The children also used vocabulary related to colours, textures, sizes and more.

Today our nursery had the 5 stars food hygiene rating!!!! Well done to our Jo for her hard work and dedication!!!!🎉🎉🎉👏

Today we went a bear hunt! First we read the story all together and then each child individually walked through the sensory boxes🌲💦, then they told the teachers what they could feel on their feet. At the end the children explored into the "cave" with the torches🔦 to find the bear🐻.

Today our Little Einstein's made delicious ice-cream, we used frozen bananas to make it, first they had to place the banana on top of the machine and then push really hard to take the ice cream out. We talked about the importance of having a healthy diet during the activity and how the fruits can make us big and strong!🍉🍌🥑

What’s the best plan for a rainy day? Baking VEGAN BANANA MUFFINS 🍌 🧁

Ingredients:
-Plain flour
-Brown sugar
-Baking powder
-Vanilla extract
-Sunflower oil
-Bananas
-Cinnamon

Bake in the oven for 30min and ready to eat!
