Well where did that summer go?..
Level UP is back and better than ever, starting Wednesday 30th September, running every week for 10 weeks until Wednesday 2nd December. If anybody is interested in starting the course please message me your email address and I will get all the relevant information to you.
Remember this course is not suitable for beginners, if you are just starting out on your BSL journey get yourself to Hull College and enrolled on a BSL Level 1 course with some of the best BSL tutors in the region. From there, Level UP can assist you to build confidence and fluidity.
Anyone starting Level 2 who would like any assistance in this area please don't hesitate to contact me.

Level UP is taking a well earned summer break, but we will be back late August/early September.

Where does the time go! Next Tuesday is revision week, and the following week assessment!

Well its that time again... A new Level UP course starting tomorrow evening at The Hull Deaf Centre. Any of the last courses students are welcome to join the last half of the class if they wish to practice.
Otherwise I'll see all the newbies tomorrow at 6.30pm. If anybody is interested in joining please contact me.

Congratulations to all the ladies on completing the first ever Level UP course.

I would like to thank you all for making teaching the course a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Exam night!

Well tonight is what you have all been working towards. One 30 minute written exam and then a signed assessment that will be marked in accordance with Signatures Level 2 criteria and on each individuals confidence and fluidity.

I have every confidence in you all.

Due to unforseen circumstances next weeks session (week 8) will be postponed until the following Tuesday evening (10th March). Many apologies for any inconvenience this may cause, however, no course content will be missed. Please try not to miss any if the final sessions.

Wk8 will be a full revision week, going over everything we have learnt so far and perfecting your story's.
Wk9 will be exam week, a chance for you a to prove to yourselves how far you've come by acing a 30 min multiple choice paper and signing your story under assessment conditions.
Wk10 results, games and certificates week, a final send off for the first Level UP students :)

Yesterdays WK6 class was postponed until next Tuesday 17th Feb. This was mutually agreed by the class attendees and won't impact on course content at all. :-)
