If you were feeling inspired by the story of Derek Skipper, who, at 92 years old became the oldest person to sit a Maths GCSE, our advice would be – follow in his footsteps and go for it!

Hull College has places for its September Maths and English GCSE uptake – and the best news is, the courses are government funded for anyone who has a grade lower than a 4 or a C and over 19 years old.

These GCSEs are essential to work and life.

We know as employers and mangers you value these qualifications as they can help your employees problem solve more effectively and enhance communication skills. Having these skills are also a great confidence boost and can improve morale and job satisfaction.

Please feel free to share this information with your staff, or anyone you feel may benefit from the free courses – they are open to anyone.

Contact Christine on [email protected] to find out more.

We look forward to hearing from you and hope to see you in the new term.
