RESULTS DAY 2026
Today, we could not be prouder of our Year 13 Performing Arts students.
Across our BTEC programmes, every single student achieved Distinction or Distinction* grades within their final results โ with students studying the full triple award achieving multiple Distinctions and Distinction*s.
These are exceptional outcomes and our students walk forwards with the highest of grades.
But for us, today isn't simply about the letters on a results sheet.
For some of these students, the journey to today has been enormous.
They trained.
They listened.
They responded.
They grew.
And today, they get to see what all of that work was for.
That is what makes these results so special.
We are incredibly proud of the performers they have become, but perhaps even prouder of the resilience, determination and professionalism they have developed along the way.
To our Year 13s โ take this moment in.
You earned it. ๐
Wherever you go next, you leave us having achieved something truly special.
This REALLY is where legends are made.

Some experiences go far beyond the stage. โจ
Trips like ours give students the chance to perform, travel, grow in confidence and build friendships that become every bit as important as the performance itself.
Creating unforgettable opportunities for our students is a huge part of what we do โ helping them develop as performers, as young people and as part of a team.
These are the moments they will remember long after the lights have gone down.

There is nothing quite like seeing your child take to the stage, surrounded by people who share their passion. โจ
We are incredibly proud to create performance opportunities that allow our students to showcase their hard work, celebrate their progress and experience the excitement of performing as part of something truly special.
From the rehearsal studio to slocal, national and International stages, our students are supported to grow in confidence, develop their craft and create memories that will remain with them long after the final bow.
Thank you to K. Hall for these lovely words and for trusting us to be part of her daughterโs journey.

โThe industry is in good hands if HPA students are the next generation.โ
Words like these from Kieran OโReilly of LEAPX mean a great deal to us.
Our students do not simply train for their next performance; they develop the discipline, confidence, resilience and professional attitude needed to build lasting futures within the performing arts industry.
From Hull to Las Vegas, they continue to show what can happen when talent meets ambition, outstanding training and extraordinary opportunities.

Our younger cast brought pure storybook charm to the stage with Belle from Beauty and the Beast.
Full of character, energy and heart, this number captured everything we love about watching young performers grow in confidence. From the beautiful storytelling at the front, to the ensemble bringing the village to life behind her, every student played their part in creating a moment that felt bright, joyful and full of promise.
These are the moments where the next generation of performers begin to realise what they are capable of.
And honestly?
They were wonderful.
LEGENDS starts here.

Dark, sharp, stylish โ and just a little bit dangerous.
Our Musical Theatre performers brought atmosphere, character and serious stage presence to Mack the Knife, delivering a moment that was every bit as striking as it was theatrical.
From the detail in the storytelling to the precision of the staging, this number proved exactly what we love about Musical Theatre: it asks performers to do it all โ act, move, connect, command the space, and hold the audience in the palm of their hand.
This was not just a number.
This was a whole mood.
LEGENDS.

Bathed in light, wrapped in movement, and suspended in one unforgettable moment.
Performed to Purple Rain by Prince, this piece brought drama, elegance and emotion to the LEGENDS stage. With every extension, every breath and every sweep of fabric, the performance captured that rare kind of stillness that only happens when an audience is completely drawn in.
A solo moment.
A storm of feeling.
A legend in the light.
This is where legends are made

Some moments donโt need noise.
Just light, shadow, movementโฆ and a little bit of magic.
Captured as part of LEGENDS rehearsal, this image celebrates the beauty of performance at its most atmospheric โ where one performer, one shape, and one breath can hold the whole stage.
A moment suspended in blue.
A little sparkle.
A lot of power.
This is where Legends are made.

Just before our Year 13s took their final bow with us, we filled the stage with colour, light and pure feeling.
Performed to JOY by RAYE, this moment captured everything we wanted to say: gratitude, celebration, release, and the bittersweet beauty of saying goodbye.
For some, this was one of their final moments on our stage as Hull Performance Academy students โ but absolutely not the end of their story.
Year 13, you have brought the joy.
Now go and take it with you.
Once a Legend, always a Legend.
