🎶🌍 A Beautiful Cultural Welcome at True Worship 5.0 ❤️💚💛

What a beautiful and memorable moment as Yorùbá L’èdè Cultural Heritage Hub had the honour of welcoming Pastor Adeola Abolaji, husband of Moromoluwatiketike, at True Worship 5.0, hosted by Amazing Grace Chapel, Hull, United Kingdom. 🙏🏾✨

Through the beautiful traditional Eko/Lagos cultural welcome song, we celebrated hospitality, respect, culture and heritage while honouring a special man of God. 🎶🥁❤️

There is something powerful about using our language, songs and cultural traditions to welcome and honour people. Our culture carries stories, values, identity and a beautiful sense of community — even when we are thousands of miles from home. 🌍

At Yorùbá L’èdè, we believe culture should not simply be remembered. It should be experienced, celebrated and passed on.

When Africans Comes Together, Culture Comes Alive , still about our African children’s Cultural day

What a beautiful and powerful moment at African Children’s Cultural Day 2026 as the vibrant sounds of Sierra Leonean drums and songs filled the space with energy, pride and joy. 🥁🇸🇱❤️

This was more than a performance — it was a reminder that Africa is rich in diversity, yet connected by our shared love for culture, heritage and community.

From Sierra Leone to Nigeria, Ghana and beyond, we came together in the diaspora to share our traditions, celebrate our differences, learn from one another and give our children a deeper connection to their African heritage. 🌍❤️

Our children deserve to see, hear and experience the beauty of Africa — not only through stories, but through music, dance, language, food, fashion, traditions and community.

When Africans come together, we create something powerful: a bridge between generations and a stronger connection to home. ❤️🌍

A Royal Cultural Welcome at True Worship 5.0

What a beautiful and memorable moment as Yorùbá L’èdè had the honour of welcoming Pastor Oluwagbemileke Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), son of the General Overseer, with the rich sounds of Yorùbá chanting, traditional songs and cultural dance at True Worship 5.0, hosted by Amazing Grace Chapel, Hull.

Through our chants, rhythms, songs and movements, we celebrated culture, heritage, respect and community, creating a warm and meaningful welcome for a special guest.

It was a beautiful reminder that our culture can create bridges, honour people and bring generations together — wherever we are in the world.

A heartfelt thank you to Amazing Grace Chapel Hull for the opportunity to be part of True Worship 5.0 and to contribute to such a wonderful celebration.

A Celebration of Culture, Joy & Belonging

These moments from our African Children’s Cultural Day tell a story that words can hardly capture.

From the dancing and singing to the storytelling, fashion, laughter and togetherness, the joy and fulfilment in the eyes of the children, parents and everyone present showed just how powerful it is to experience and celebrate culture in the diaspora.

For one beautiful day, our heritage came alive — connecting generations, bringing different backgrounds together and giving our children the opportunity to see, feel and proudly embrace their African identity.

Celebrating Africa Through Our Children

Children from different backgrounds, cultures and communities came together at our African Children’s Cultural Day to experience, learn about and celebrate the richness and uniqueness of African culture.

Through music, dance, fashion, stories, food and shared experiences, they discovered that although our backgrounds may be different, culture has the power to bring us together.

A beautiful day of learning, connection, friendship and cultural pride — creating memories that our children will carry with them.

🌍✨ A Truly Special Moment for Yorùbá L’Èdè ✨🌍

It was an absolute honour to welcome Her Worship the Lord Mayor, Councillor Maria Coward, to our recently concluded African Children’s Cultural Day, organised by Yorùbá L’Èdè.

Her beautiful speech was filled with warmth, encouragement and genuine appreciation for the importance of introducing children to their culture and heritage from an early age. Even more touching was the impressive feedback she shared after the event, expressing her pleasure at how beautifully the celebration came together.

Having her grace the occasion, speak to our children and community, and share in our celebration made the day even more meaningful. ❤️

Thank you, Madam Lord Mayor, for believing in our vision, celebrating with us and recognising the importance of keeping our culture alive for the next generation.
