Over the next few weeks the preschool is going to be running a few fundraising activities, we hope that all our families will support us in our endeavours.
As always we like to support local groups, charities and families that need a little extra love and kindness in difficult times.
We have recently been made aware of a little one who was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome and needs a series of operations and we would like to help where we can.
We are starting with a fun toy story raffle this week as well as name the bear and favourite chocolate fundraising cards. Our favourite little helper will get some sweet bags made up for you aswell !!
Please support if you can but as always thank you for kindness β€οΈ

Weekly roundup - week two completed (just about π€£π€£π€£)
We have started our top secret activities this week ..... shushhhhhh don't tell everyone π€« !!! Lots of choosing colours, interpretation and creating with a purpose in mind whilst working hard on our intended purpose π can't wait for them to be able to share with you next week π.
We explored and enjoyed the little amount of dry, warmer weather that has been on offer this week; playing outside and sharing and taking turns with our friends.
We have used this opportunity to develop our ball skills; catching, rolling, kicking and passing to one another - good week to practice these with it been the start of the Football World Cup !!!
We have coloured and created pictures based on the theme 'football' and have continued to share and take turns with the resources inside. We have built and designed with the magnectic tiles, role played in the home corner and used our imaginations to make the most amazinh creations out of stickle bricks, magnetico and sensory bricks.
Friday ended with our weekly dance party ..... as requested by the children as soon as they walk in along with lots of imaginative role play with the various resources.

Weekly roundup - week 1 of the last summer term completed (although it may have felt more like week 7 π€£π€£π€£)
Lots of settling back into our preschool routine and sharing news with our friends.
This week we have explored and investigated dinosaurs π¦ π¦ in celebration of world dinosaur day; we have learned lots of names and tried really hard to pronounce them and yes we can all say tyrannosaurus rex π lol. We have coloured and designed our own dinosaurs, we have matched and identified different dinosaur shadows and we have continued to develop our cutting skills in cutting dinosaur shapes and then matching them to make a completed picture.
We have explored numbers through the numicons, looking at more and less and counting the circles extending our emerging number knowledge.
We have explored volume and mass in the sand play, both inside and outside. Working out how much it takes to fill specific containers and which is more, less, bigger or smaller.
We have enjoyed the nicer days with lots of outdoor play where we have loved watching the sunflowers π» grow as well as looking at how much our Christmas tree π has grown; the old branches are hard and spikey but the new shoots are all soft !!!
We have played, shared and taken turns whilst getting excited about upcoming visits from our new teachers (please let us know about home visits from teachers) as well the new Toy Story film that is due out - hope you all are prepared to take them to see it as they all think they are going π€£π€£π€£
We have ended the week with two birthday cakes, celebrating Lily-mae's and Brodie's 3rd birthdays this week - all of the children really enjoyed birthday cake for snack twice in one day ..... yum yum yum π π π # # #
Keep a look out for upcoming special days and celebrations and we will inform everyone next week about graduation plans # # #
Have a lovely weekend xx
