We had the absolute pleasure and honour of been invited to watch the Little Stars musical theatre performance of 'Save Neverland' this evening and wow what a performance ❤️
We were amazed by all the talented young people who took to the stage tonight (awesome voices, dancing and acting and some very funny moments, even our big kids were laughing) including some former students (miss freya we spotted you) and shining at the front as a little tinkerbell, miss Lottie ⭐️ !!

A very big thank you to Miss Emmie Sanderson for the invitation and wow what an amazingly awesome production you put on (kept your beautiful voice quiet 🤫 ❤️) so much hard work put into it !!

Thank you again, would definitely recommend checking out Little Stars # # #

Lovely way to start the summer holidays and very grateful to be included in our little ones activities # # #

End of and era 😢 💔

After 23 years of service we are finally saying goodbye to Dianne who has made the (very wise) decision to retire to spend more time in her garden (which by the way is beautiful) and with her two grandsons 😍.

We wish Dianne the very best in the future and know its not really goodbye as she will be about to say hello to and we will stay in touch (who else will give us gardening tips 😉).

Dianne is an amazing person, with a wealth of knowledge and experience who has definitely seen the preschool through good times, tough times and interesting times.
So many children and families have benefited from Dianne's care and attention including our own children, all of whom have fond memories of their time with Dianne and within the preschool (it says something when they are willing to come back and help)

Sad day today and we will miss Dianne but cannot thank her enough for all her work, advice and friendship - good luck and goodbye 🥰😘💛💚💜❤️💙🩷

Yellow is officially retired 💛 # # #

Daily Roundup - Day 3 completed and thats it, it's a wrap !! The end of the summer term has arrived and with it an end of an era 😪 and lots of our butterflies moving on up to 'big school' !!

We ended the term pretty spectacularly ✨️ we had bouncing, we had soft play, we had dancing, we had singing, we had one final rendition of 'let it go' along with 'your welcome' and 'golden' (if you know you know 😉), we had balloons, we had ice lollies outside, we had cakes and buns and even colin the caterpillars to share with our friends.

We had a pretty amazing picnic with so much yummy food our tummies were bursting but most importantly we had fun with our friends ❤️ # # #

Have a lovely summer holidays, we can't wait to hear all about your adventures when you return 😀 in September.
Good luck to our butterflies moving to 'big school', we can't wait to see you all in your new uniforms, we will be waving at the gates ❤️ .

Thank you for choosing St Aidan's Preschool and sharing your days with us 💜💙💚💛❤️🩷

THANK YOU ❤️

A massive, huge, gigantic thank you to all our wonderful families and friends for all your support in helping us to raise money for a very special little boy and his family.

The family have kindly sent us a photo of little Ashton who has had his first operation and is doing well, unfortunately they have a long road ahead of them but we wish them the very best and send them lots of love and hugs # # #

We raised a huge £388.73 from the sweets, chocolate bus stops and toy story raffle.

We then have kindly been donated a further £130 from our favourite little elf who has been selling books and sweets since Easter.

And because we have some absolutely amazingly awesome friends we have had an anonymous donation of £82.00 to round the total up.

That makes a grand total of, drum 🥁 roll please........

£600.73 ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

All money has been given directly to the family for Ashton # # #

As a little treat on our very last day of the summer term none of the children will need a packed lunch box, the preschool will be suppling a fun filled picnic 😀 xx

Last day before a well deserved break and new journeys/chapters begin 🥰❤️ # # #

Daily Roundup - Day 2 of our extra days completed and we are exhausted 😉🫪 we have not stopped today 😴 its definitely been a physical exercise move your body kind of day (not sure the staff can keep this up for long haha 🤣🤣🤣)

We have really taken advantage of the cooler weather today by visiting our local park where we climbed, swung, pushed, kicked, run, jumped and bounced ...... phew !!!

We then played outside in the large grassed area; what time is it Mr Wolf and Duck Duck Goose ..... I'm sure you can imagine the chaos that entailed in trying to organise these ring games 😉🤣🤣

Inside we have coloured, used our imaginations with the barbies, toy story characters and the imaginex figures. We have explored the soft play and the various things we can make and do with the pieces (a castle was the favourite 😍) and we even bounced on the mini trampoline !!

We ended the day with a sweet treat of brownies or flap jack for snack 😋 yum yum yum # # #

Last day tomorrow, bring it on ........

Daily Roundup - Day 1 of our extra days and wow how lucky are we 🥰

We have been treated to our very own ice cream shop this afternoon from Theo's mum who very generously brought in ice cream, sprinkles, wafer cones, chocolate flakes and chocolate and strawberry sauces yum yum yum 😋
Each of us visited the shop, ordered our individual cone, ice cream and then decorated it with our own choices of sprinkles, sauces and flake.
Unfortunately no money changed hands but lots of manners were exchanged for the ice cream ❤️ not a bad trade haha 🤣🤣🤣

We have enjoyed our extra day by making lots of individual choices about what and where we want to play; soft play was definitely the winning choice along with barbie dolls and ourside play in the large grasses area.

Let's see what surprises tomorrow brings 😉 # # #

Overwhelmed by your generosity, kindness and the thought that has gone behind every single gift handed to us today ❤️

As always it is not needed or expected; the smiles on the children's faces as they graduated and the feedback from you, our amazing families is everything and more to us - it is why we do the 'job' we do (it is so much more than a job, it takes over our entire lives from files to training to placing orders late at night, responding to messages whilst on holidays, throwing items in the shopping basket whilst doing own shopping....just because it fits a topic we are doing, to roping in our entire families to help !)

We are very grateful to you all for thinking of us, so please know how thankful we are, we are beyond touched 🥲 😍.

As much as we are sad to see our little ones move up to big school we are just as sad to see you our families leave - we have met some amazing people over this last year, some awesome grandparents (you know who you are 😉) and had some brilliant conversations and we are going to really miss you all - thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being you ❤️ # # #
