Wystawa "Cześć, to my!/Hi, it's us!" poświęcona polskiej społeczności w East Riding – to już ostatnia okazja, by ją zobaczyć! ⏳
Zaś 17 września, w ramach Heritage Open Days/Otwartych Dni Dziedzictwa , odbyło się wydarzenie towarzyszące wystawie – wykład dr. Nicka Evansa zatytułowany "Faith, work and culture – the invisible "Poles" in the East Riding of Yorkshire / Wiara, praca i kultura – niewidzialni Polacy we wschodnim Yorkshire". Wciągająca, odkrywcza, barwna i prowadzona z humorem prelekcja dr.
Serdecznie zachęcamy do odwiedzin!

This is your last chance to visit the "Hi, it's us!" exhibition, celebrating the Polish community in the East Riding! ⏳
On September 17, as part of Heritage Open Days at Hull Museums, a special event was held alongside the exhibition: a talk by Dr Nick Evans titled "Faith, Work, and Culture – The Invisible 'Poles' in the East Riding of Yorkshire." His engaging, insightful, colourful, and humorous presentation offered a wonderful opportunity to learn about the often-overlooked history of Polish migration in our area and inspired us to explore this fascinating topic further.
The event drew a large audience passionate about the region's history and culture and encouraged them to visit the exhibition. A delightful surprise was the chance to meet a friend of our school—and one of the figures featured in the exhibition—Ms Christine Piotrowski-Bojen.
We extend our sincere thanks to Dr Evans and the exhibition curator, Ms Sally Hayes and her team, for organising this excellent talk, and congratulate them on its success.
The exhibition at the Champney Treasure House Museum in Beverley remains open to visitors until Saturday, October 3. We warmly encourage everyone to visit!
