The children in foundation had a fantastic end to their first year at school. We started our current topic of important people by interviewing Mrs Chapman and learning about her job. We interviewed "Keir Starmer" and learnt about the job of the Prime Minister. We finished the topic today by holding a royal garden party like the ones at Buckingham Palace. We had a fantastic afternoon, dressed up in our finery enjoying delicious picnics. It was wonderful to see so many people. Thank you for coming.

Year 5 had a taste of secondary school during a fantastic transition event at Sirius Academy! We are incredibly proud of their excellent behaviour throughout the day and hope they all had a wonderful experience. Well done, Year 5!

In maths, Year 2 made rice crispy buns to support us with our new mass unit. We accurately measured all the ingredients using scales and made sure we followed the recipe to make the buns taste delicious. We then enjoyed them in the sun as a feel good Friday reward. 🧁☀️

A huge thank you to all of our parents, families, Friends of Ainthorpe, and members of the local community who came along to support this brilliant event. Your generosity, and support helped make the day such a wonderful success.

Special thanks go to Miss Arksey, our Art Lead, whose incredible vision brought the We Are Hull exhibition to life. Thank you for all the hard work that went into pulling everything together and showcasing the amazing talents of our children.

We would also like to thank all of our staff for their help, support, and teamwork in making the event run so smoothly. A big thank you to our mascot, Horizon, for making a special appearance and bringing lots of smiles throughout the afternoon.

We are so proud of our school community and grateful to everyone who helped make this such a memorable celebration of creativity, community, and togetherness.
