WORLD BOOK DAY 2026
WBD in the National Year of Reading and we presented our version of the book that the children voted for!
The Wizard of Oz by Frank Baum, and turned in to a film back in 1939!
Staff embraced the full thing and they secretly loved it!!!

The children really enjoyed it, especially the humour and how we make it ‘Burstwick’!
The children look amazing today and pictures will be sent by the Class Teachers.
Have a great WBD and don’t forget that FoBS are selling chocolate bars at the end of the day.
Any child attending after school clubs, or leaving at either 12:00pm or 3:00pm will be able to buy a chocolate bar.

We are pleased to invite your school community to our next face-to-face workshop for parents and carers titled:
Routines & Rhythms
This session covers a greater understanding of why boundaries, routines and sleep support children’s emotional and behavioural development and how to effectively use boundary setting and routines to support children’s development.

CORE VALUES - RESILIENT
