Well this made my heart smile.
Just look at all these proud faces. I am so thrilled that Hetty is part of a charity that encourages children to read!
I remember finding it so hard in junior school and even the first few years of senior school. Sometimes it's all about connection to a book that speaks to you .

Last month we donated 90 copies of 'I Have an Orange Juicy Drink' to Ready Steady Read. The author, Andy Sanders, came with us to hand them over to the charity, plus he threw in a few free copies to make it 100+ books for local kids. ๐งก

Paula Stead Sam Claire Kelly Vicker Rachel Weeks Our charity readysteadyread.org is looking to donate Reading books/novels to the elderly during their self isolation. I am asking if you could all share this and donate any books. The books will be throughly cleaned and delivered to the elderly. We would also appreciate books for primary school children of key workers so if anyone would like to help and donate then please contact me. They can be delivered to AP Workwear, 29 Holderness Road, Hull and left at the side entrance on Wilton Street (accessed via Dansom Lane South), between the hours of 10-2 Mon to Fri. If you call 01482 409940 and let us know you have left them, we will come and collect them so no contact needed. Thank you for your support and please share ๐๐
