MAD Theatre Workshops

So there we are, our final MAD at the end of the last half term. What an amazing 18 years we have had, with so many brilliant and happy memories for us all to treasure.

Nothing lasts forever and whilst we have come to the finish of weekly MAD we continue with our work in entertainment and education.

So many of the children below started with us even before school when we used to do MAD for TOTS and are now on their path to Uni.

We have watched them all grow into the most caring, funny, smart and entertaining bunch you could imagine and we have been like a family unit together.

So many tears and lots of laughter at the end of our final session as the picture below shows. Thank you all for the cards and gifts.....although your children have been the best gifts and we thank you for all your support over the 'MAD' years.

I know Laura, Kevin and I will miss you all like 'MAD'

Classes resume next Wednesday 12th January 2022

Our middle group 'Hollywood' last Wednesday evening.. after everything children have had to endure these last 18 months it was so good to have them giggling and having a whole lot of fun. together.
Even if your child doesn't want to be the next star of stage or screen our classes are fabulous for boosting self confidence, making friends and of course exploring dance, drama and musicality in a supportive and fun setting. Classes from school age upwards. Free trial sessions.

Here is our lovely Laura. She has been with us since the very early days of MAD, 14 years ago and came straight from her dance and choreography degree. Laura has worked in primary, secondary, youth dance projects, choreographing pantomimes, a west end show as well as teaching GCSE and A level and has now landed the fantastic job of Head of Dance, Drama and Performing Arts at Wyke college.. ... on top of rocking up to MAD on a Wednesday!
