​We’ve had so many enquiries for the new academic year and it honestly means the world! 🌎 I’m technically still on maternity leave, so I’m keeping my intake lighter this year while I start to manage juggling work, mum-of-two life and tutoring!📚
​Tutoring is something I value way too much to give up, but to keep the quality high (and my sanity intact!), spaces are super limited! I work with primary-aged children from Year 2 upwards, offering friendly, personalised support to help children grow in confidence and reach their full potential 🌟📖

​This Y4 test is a super tricky one, it is a serious test of patience and recall, but seeing all that hard work, determination and perseverance pay off makes every practice session worth it! 🧠⚡ From quick-fire practice, flash cards, multiplication pop-its, endless hours on TTRS, this achievement is so well deserved!
​So proud of the fantastic progress especially as this learner struggled so much at the beginning, but all the effort has made it all worth it —onward and upwards into Y5! 🌟👏✖️

Just incase any of you are local - We’ve already started saving our bottle bottoms for the Thorngumbald Parish poppy display and now they’ve organised this! ✨️ What a fantastic idea for the whole family to get involved in and such a great learning opportunity too. Focused on GPS (Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling) in this tutoring session! 📝✨
​Grammar can easily feel dry or repetitive, but putting the rules into action makes all the difference! We tackled tricky word spellings, mastered placing commas in lists and leveled up simple descriptions using expanded noun phrases! Incredible effort & great focus as always! ✍️🌟

Another fab session with this weekly learner, this time diving into interpreting charts and line graphs! 📊📈
​Reading data can feel a bit overwhelming at first with all the axes, tally marks and keys to track. However, once we broke it down what the pictures and lines are actually telling us —whether it's tracking temperatures, growth over time, or favourite ice cream flavours 🍦—it all starts to click! Huge well done for staying focused in this super hot weather ☀️ following the clues and reading those graphs! 🙌⭐

Had a great tutoring session working through fractions, decimals and percentages with this learner! 🧠✨
Maths can feel like a total maze sometimes, but breaking things down step-by-step on the whiteboard made all the difference for this learner! Seeing those "aha!" moments makes it all worth it!💡
Super proud of the focus and hard work put in especially during the holidays! 🙌📚

Just the same as in the classroom, I always do some recapping of areas we've covered, especially with concepts the learner has struggled with.

Apostrophes recap - one of my favourite sessions because people just use them everywhere there's an 's' and that's not always correct!
