Last week two groups of Year 9 students from St Mary's College were part of a Holocaust Educational Trust (UK) learning session called Testimony 360.

For the first part of Testimony 360 the students were able to interact with recorded survivors' testimony.

In the latter part of the Testimony 360 session, the pupils got the opportunity to explore some of sites connected to the Holocaust through virtual reality headsets.

Parents and carers are invited to participate in an information workshop titled 'Helping your Child with Anxiety', delivered by the Hull Mental Health Support Team.

The workshop aims to build a greater understanding of anxiety. Participants can learn what anxiety in children looks like and develop techniques/strategies to respond to anxious behaviours and anxiety symptoms.

We are currently building up our Duke of Edinburgh expedition equipment supplies and are looking for donations of unwanted outdoor gear.

We would be very grateful if you have any of the following items in good condition to donate:

⛺ 2 or 3-person tents (nothing larger than a 3-person tent)
🛏️ Sleeping bags (single or smaller-sized sleeping bags)
🥾 Walking boots (any size, including children's sizes – the smallest size we currently have available to lend is a size 5)
🔥 Small Trangia stoves (suitable for liquid or gel fuel)

If you have any of these items sitting unused in a garage, loft, shed, or cupboard and would be willing to donate them, your support would make a real difference.

Every donation helps provide opportunities for our students and enables more young people to take part in this fantastic programme.
