Child Dynamix Community Nursery - Preston Road

Child Dynamix Community Nursery - Preston Road Providing high-quality and affordable childcare all year round for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Janet Genter Community Nursery first opened in June 2001.

Our fully qualified and experienced childcare practitioners will help support your child’s learning and development in a safe and welcoming environment! As a community focused nursery we offer a family friendly service tailored to meet your needs. So if you work shifts or term time only for example we can offer childcare at times to suit your individual family needs. Just contact one of our friendly team or call in to find out more. We are proud to be part of the East Hull Association of Schools the strap line "starting with the end in sight" places early years at the heart of local learning. As a member of this organisation, Child Dynamix carries out Mock OFSTED inspections through an organisation called INCYTE alongside the Schools in the Association. This helps us to ensure we are focused on children's learning journey through their early years and supporting them with the grown up move into "big" school! Our mantra is: Be passionate, chase excellence and add value for every family we serve! We are a Steps to Quality Nursery and have achieved Step One accreditation. We let you know a few weeks back about the Herd Theatre's free show, Baby Brain. Inspired by real life stories and science, the show is packed with music and sensory play, and is designed for parents to bring their babies (0-12 months) along with them.

Two performances will be taking place at The Freedom Centre, opposite our building, tomorrow. If you haven't checked it out yet, this might be a great opportunity to do so!

Sharon wanted to reach out and share how grateful she is at the kind words and many gifts she received in her last few days as Nursery Manager at Child Dynamix. She certainly wasn't expecting it, and wanted us to thank all the staff and parents for their generosity and making her last few days so special!

Yesterday we bid farewell to our Nursery Manager, Sharon - we will all miss her and wish her the best of luck in her new role! We're excited that, from today, Karen will be taking over her position as Nursery Manager. Karen has been Assistant Manager here at Child Dynamix Preston Road for over 8 years, so she's the perfect person for the job!

Here's what Karen had to say about taking over as Nursery Manager of Child Dynamix Preston Road Nursery:

"I've loved working at Preston Road Nursery for nearly 8 1/2 years, and I'm excited to continue my journey in the Manager role. I look forward to continuing the great work that Sharon has done, and provide the best care for all our children!"

Well done Karen on your new role, we're so pleased to have you onboard!

Today is our Manager, Sharon's, last day at Child Dynamix Preston Road Nursery. She has been with Child Dynamix for four years, and we've been so grateful for her continued hard work throughout her time here. Sharon is someone who has always got herself stuck in with anything she can do to help improve nursery life, always willing to go above and beyond when needed. Though she will be missed by children, parents and staff here, we know she will be fabulous in her new role, and we wish her the best of luck! Thank you Sharon!
