Biggin Hill Primary Academy

Our Year 6 children have arrived on their residential safely. They are just about to start their first activity, keep an eye out for more photos of what they get up to!🌳

Our KS1 and KS2 pupils participated in an informative RNLI water safety assembly, where they learned how to stay safe around water in different environments such as beaches, rivers, and lakes.
The session helped children understand how to spot dangers, make safe decisions, and respond in an emergency. Pupils were introduced to the “Float to Live” technique, how to call for help, and how to assist others safely.
The assembly provided valuable, potentially life-saving knowledge that pupils can carry with them beyond school 🌊💧

2JC have been learning about the 5 oceans of the world. They even learned a song to help order the oceans from biggest to smallest 🌊

3AD really enjoyed our trip to Bridlington Animal Park where we got to see and learn lots about a wide variety of animals. We learnt all about the lemurs, fennec foxes, Arctic foxes and racoon dogs from the workers at the park. The children also really enjoyed getting the kookaburra to laugh, but their highlight was petting the skunks and handling the guinea pigs!

B' hive had a wonderful time at Let's Play this morning. We were vets, teachers, dinosaur explorers, hairdressers, musicians and pirates. We all had a wonderful time exploring the different areas and using our play skills to engage in lots of role play fun. Well done B' hive 🐝

4EB had a wonderful trip to York. A fantastic time was had by all and they did us and themselves proud with their amazing behaviour and attitude 🤩
