Our lovely residents at Humber View have been raising money for Dove House Hospice šŸ’š

They put together a bric-a-brac stall and raffled off a lovely food and drink hamper, with lots of residents getting involved to help organise and set everything up.

Thanks to everyone who came along, had a browse and donated so generously, they raised an incredible Ā£440 in one day! šŸ‘

Around 1 in 3 adults over 65 and half of people over 80 will have at least one fall a year.

At PFH we are aware that anyone can have a fall, either at home or when theyā€™re out and about. But statistically, older people are more vulnerable and likely to fall, especially if they have a long-term health condition. Falls can take a serious toll on peopleā€™s quality of life. Fortunately, with the right precautions and lifestyle changes, our ageing population can avoid falls and continue to live an active, healthy life.

Exciting timesā€¦ brand new PFH homes are coming to Hemswell Avenue!

The site, also known as Isaac Newton Park, will become our latest development, creating more homes for older people in Hull.

Our Chief Executive Claire and Board Chair John recently headed out to the site to meet the team from Hammond Homes, who weā€™ll be working with to bring the new development to life.

Itā€™s really exciting to see things moving forward and we canā€™t wait to eventually welcome residents into their new homes! šŸ„°
