Sooooooo, when the bus lanes are not active (basically outside the times shown in the sign), it is just a normal lane and should be used.
(It will also be expected in the driving test)

If you choose not to use it, or you don’t understand it, that’s fine. You do you.

What’s not fine his shouting abuse at me and my learners just because you don’t have a clue what you’re doing!!

The jobs stressful enough on the roads in Hull - without some d***y clowns who have no idea how to drive properly giving big ‘uns.

And feel free to hang around long enough and I’ll explain in detail why you’re wrong - you might even learn something 🙄😂😂

⚠️ Bus Lanes in Hull ⚠️

So not sure if this is a council mess up and they’ve got it wrong, or they’ve pulled the wool over our eyes… But the promise to change the bus lanes back to how they was seems to have been overlooked! 🤔🤔

🚌 How they were before: the bus lane was active in a morning heading towards the city centre 7-9.30am, and in the evening heading away from the city centre 4-6.30pm.

🚌 What the NEW signs say: the bus lanes in BOTH DIRECTIONS are active in BOTH mornings AND evenings!!!

The signs are changing already across the city ready for the official change date of the 18th March. So be careful with these new times, they are not what they originally were!!

Put this together a few years ago… will be worth another post with the changes coming up to the bus lanes in Hull 👍🏻
