********Just a quick reminder that the Highlands school choir will feature on Songs of Praise on Sunday 19th July (today). It airs at 1:15 PM and is available on BBC iPlayer**********

A group of children from our choir took part in filming in Hull Minster for BBC Songs of Praise as part of the Choral Hull schools choir.

They will be broadcast on Sunday the 19th July and two further hymns sung in the Minster will also be included on Remembrance Sunday (we will remind you closer to the time).

As always, the children represented the school fantastically and sang their hearts out!

From all of the staff at Highlands, we would like to wish you a fantastic summer holiday. We hope the sun continues to shine! Whatever you have planned over the break, we hope you all stay safe, happy and well. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to school in September.

Thank you to all of our children and parents for working alongside us throughout the year to help every child achieve their very best. Your support, dedication and partnership are greatly appreciated, and we could not ask for anything more.

We would also like to send our very best wishes and lots of luck to all of our Year 6 children who are leaving us today. We are incredibly proud of everything you have achieved and know that you will go on to do amazing things. Good luck as you begin this exciting new chapter.

Finally, we say farewell to our very own Mrs Smith, Ms Eastham and Mrs Dearing. It is difficult to put into words the impact these wonderful ladies have had on Highlands over the years. Their dedication, commitment and passion for both the children and the school have helped make Highlands the special place it is today. We are incredibly grateful to have worked alongside you and to have benefited from your knowledge, care and friendship. It is the end of an era.

We wish you all a long, happy and very well-deserved retirement.
