Wilberforce students Georgia, Dylan, Molly and Luke have had a fantastic action-packed first day exploring the city, embracing the culture and getting to know their fellow college jet-setters from nearby Franklin Sixth Form and John Leggott 🗺️

If that wasn’t enough, in the evening they watched the ILT20 Final at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium! 🏏

Stay tuned to see what the group get up to over the next 2 weeks!

Do you LOVE the idea of a career in the Police? 🚨

Last week a group of Year 1 Policing students visited Hull Crown Court to sit in the Public Gallery and professionally observe several trials. This integral experience enabled them to further understand legal procedures first hand and the reality of the criminal justice system. ⚖️

The students were able to witness many different cases which meant they could gain a wider perspective and develop their critical thinking process. 🧠

The visit also served as a great networking opportunity as they interacted between trials with different members of the proceedings, including a Q&A session with one of the Judges which led to getting hands-on with their iconic (and very expensive) horsehair wig!
