Beech classroom having a great week.

What a busy week in Chestnut so far!
The children have enjoyed listening to the story of Handa‘s Surprise and we have enjoyed a healthy fruit Salad using some of the fruits in the book. We tried carrying the fruit like Handa did and it was so heavy!
Today we have enjoyed dressing up like some of the super footballers in the World Cup.
We look forward to seeing if they are winners.😍☺️

Willow children have been looking at the story ‘Three little pigs’
We made cement using sand and foam and bricks to make walls for the pigs house. Children had lots of fun doing this. 😀🐷🐷🐷

For Father's Day this year we are giving all children across the school the opportunity to buy a gift for a father, stepdad grandfather or someone that is like a dad.
Gifts will be available to buy on Friday 19th June at £2 per gift.

To ensure we purchase enough gifts please make sure you complete the slip that is in the nursery office and return with the money by Wednesday 17th June at the latest.

Hello Everyone
We hope you are all having a lovely half term and are keeping safe in the sun ☀️ Remember slap on the sun cream, wear a hat and keep hydrated with lots of water!

We have been getting the classroom ready for the children as for some of them it will be their last term with us.
We are excited to show them our new little school area where they will have the opportunity to dress up and look at photographs of their new schools.
We will also be launching our get ready for school campaign so watch this space for some important updates.

Day 2 and we now have the most wonderful family of chicks 🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥
The children are fascinated, and we will be moving them into their new home today. Such a wonderful way to learn about the life cycle by hands on immersive experiences such as this.

We are so Eggcited🤣A new arrival came at the nursery today.
Meet Daisy our first of many chicks. 🐣🐥
We cannot wait to show all the children tomorrow.
