Where all Hull American Studies graduates can keep up to date with each other! Can we even find some of the original class of '53?!
In 1953, American Studies was first taught at the University of Hull - and it has been going strong ever since (even through the eras of Nixon and George W.). The current teaching team intend on celebrating the 50th anniversary of American Studies at Hull in some style - and in a first step towards making that happen we have established this page as a means of locating as many of our grad
uates as possible. Then, as events start to be planned, we can let you know what is going on and invite as many of you as possible. And hopefully you too can use this page to suggest the kind of things you would like us to do to mark the occasion. So please - once you've "liked"this page, if you know of other friends and former graduates, please invite them to join as well. We really want to get as full a picture of our former students (and what you have all gone on to do) as we possibly can. You should be proud to know that when it comes to Student Satisfaction (in the NSS2011), we remain the top-rated American Studies programme in the country. We hope that your memories of American Studies are just as positive, and that you will be able to share your memories and join us in some of our celebrations. With all of our best wishes
