The children in year 3 and 5 worked really hard to research the life and career of Sir David Attenborough on Thursday afternoon. They then presented their research in these wonderful posters. I'm so proud of their efforts 😊

We had 38 wonderful entries for our Easter bonnet competition. Well done to all our children who took part and especially our winners Jack, Beatrix, Tillie and Toby. We were so impressed all entrants received a malteaser bunny.

We are selling raffle tickets for this wonderful Easter hamper. Tickets are available for £3 each or 4 for £10 from the school office or in school at the egg roll on friday afternoon. Just a reminder tomorrow is it is Red Nose Day. The Children can come to school in non-uniform and the theme is wear it red. A voluntary contribution of £1.00 per child is requested to be brought to the school office and this will go to Comic Relief. 🔴

World Book Day!📚

We have had great fun celebrating World Book Day! Lots of children have wore some brilliant costumes and shared their favourite books with each other. Classes have designed bookmarks, had a go at a quiz and designed their own front covers. We even spent some time reading to each other in different classes! It was lovely to see all of the children have a love for reading!

🌳EYFS Forest School-Signs of Spring hunt and drawing 🌳

This morning the children in EYFS went on a hunt to look for signs of spring. We found lots of different items including 2 large frogs in our school pond. The children collected a few different flowers, some willow buds, blossom and a ladybird. We sat around the table and drew some of the lovely spring flowers we collected.

🌳EYFS Forest school-nature pancakes🌳

This morning the EYFS children used the bow saw to cut a log disc to create a nature pancake. They had lots of fun spreading the squishy mud onto the log which they called chocolate spread. They used flowers, leaves, grass and bird seed as toppings. They all looked delicious.
