Inspiring, university-style tutorials for GCSE and A-Level students in English Literature and language.

Led by Dr Anna Watson, an Oxford educated academic with a passion for showing students how fun and exciting literature can be! I provide tuition online and in Kingston-Upon-Hull for GCSE and A-Level English and school entrance exams. I can help with 11+, 13+, university applications and helping children catch up after the Covid disruptions. I love to work with families and small groups of children as well as providing individual tuition.

I currently have spaces available to help with:
- Giving children a headstart with GCSE and A-Level English courses
- Revision sessions for autumn resits
- Preparation for University Interviews
- Academic skills for students starting at University, or just about to start

Or just to encourage your child to expand their reading while having fun!

All my sessions take place online via Skype or Zoom, and I can offer one-off consultations or regular sessions.

I also work in local schools so I'm DBS checked, I have insurance and I'm up-to-date with guidance about working safely online.

Please pop me a message to enquire about 1-to-1 or group tuition.

We've had a fantastic time with our music and English sessions for home educators, which have been held this term at Rock Up, Hull City Centre. 📖 The English group has been a lovely, supportive, fun-loving group of children - we've created stories, solved mysteries, played lots of games and delved deep into some fascinating fiction and poetry. 🎵And our Family Music Session has been packed with lovely moments, as we sing and listen to beautiful music with bubbles, bouncy lycra, parachutes, chime bars and twinkly stars…

Each class needs 6 term bookings in order to go ahead (if classes are unable to run due to low numbers, you'll receive a refund of any money paid.)
