The North Hull creative groups have been busy again this week, on Wednesday morning they painted pots and added cress seeds to grow. On Wednesday afternoon they had a go at recreating the self portrait by Belgian Surrealist Rene Margritte - "The Son of Man". I am sure you would recognise it by these attempts.

It's been great that North Hull Craft group started today - they had a great time being very creative making flower inspired coasters. Don't they look fantastic?!

Do you need to improve your Self-Confidence and Money budgeting skills as well as cook simple food to a budget? Then the Life Skills Money Budgeting and Cookery course is just right for you. Are you free during the day and would like something to do? Then come along to one of our FREE groups in CENTRAL HULL - HU1. There may be a group here that you could attend to make friends, learn something new, get fit...

Are you feeling socially isolated, bored, long term employed? Then if you live in the NORTH HULL area - HU6 - then we have these FREE groups on this summer term - at the Community Hall at the Orchard Centre - HU6 9BX. Turn up and complete a registration form to join in.

It was great that the Board Games and Pool started again this morning at Jubilee Central after the Easter break. It's a great group to come and play games, have a cuppa and some biscuits or fruit, meet people and chat. So come along and join us.

Life College has three craft groups that run in three different locations West Hull at Cecil Gardens, North Hull at the Orchard Centre and Central Hull at Jubilee Church. They are run by some very dedicated and loyal volunteers - Teresa Salmon, Debbie Irvine, Wendy Da Silva, Julie-Anne Phillips, Sarah Sheppard, Jackie Marshall, Joanne Walters, Leah White and Kevin Thomas (who helps with the heavy lifting at Central.) A big thank you to these amazing people.

The craft, games and chair exercises have been really good to attend at the North Hull venue, this is held in the Orchard Medical Centre in the Community room. Here are some pics of the participants enjoying being part of the groups and getting involved.

Life College has been busy this term with all the groups running in North Hull, West Hull and Central Hull. We have been running a Life Skills and Cookery course this term and here are some pics of the participants making meatballs and spaghetti from scratch. We run this course in collaboration with Family Action Connecting Communities Through Food
