What a brilliant day on Alderman Kneeshaw Park!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, got involved, supported us and helped make the day so special.Around 450 people** joined us, and together we raised an amazing £457!🎉

A special thank you to our incredible FOAK volunteers who gave their time, energy and enthusiasm — from setting up and packing away, running the café, raffle and tombola, supporting activities, welcoming people and making sure everyone felt included.

It was lovely to see new friendships being made, conversations happening and confidence growing in both volunteers and community members.

Thank you also to all our partners and organisations who came along and supported the event. Your involvement makes such a difference.

Most importantly, thank you to our community for turning up, having a go and helping create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

This is what Friends of Alderman Kneeshaw Park is all about — bringing people together, building confidence, creating connections and making our park a place where everyone belongs. ❤️🌳

Saturday is Summer Gala Day at the park!

🌳 Play in the Park – Wednesdays, 1–4pm! 🌳

Come join us for a fun-filled afternoon at the play area!

🎨1 - 3 Crafts – get creative with us
⚽ 3 - 4 Free sports sessions with HKR coaches, all ages welcome
🍎 Free fruit for all
🧊 Ice pops – just 20p

All welcome – bring the kids down for games, activities, and a great time outdoors!
