For many families, weekdays are a constant juggling act.
School.
Work.
Clubs.
Homework.
Dinner.
Before you know it, another week has flown by.
If you've ever found yourself thinking, "We'd love some extra support, but there just aren't enough hours in the day," you're certainly not alone.
That's exactly why our Saturday sessions are so popular.
They give families the opportunity to access support without adding even more pressure to an already busy week.
Learning shouldn't become another source of stress.
It should fit around family life, not take it over.
If weekends work better for your family, we'd be happy to chat about how our Saturday sessions could help.
Do weekends make life a little easier for your family, or are weekdays your preference? Let us know in the comments.

❤️ The Parent's Corner
To the parent who lies awake wondering if they're doing enough...
This is for you.
The one who sits through homework, even when it's difficult.
The one who celebrates every little win, because you know how hard your child has worked to get there.
The one who worries when they say, "I'm stupid."
The one who wonders if you should be doing more.
Please know this.
Your child doesn't need a perfect parent.
They need someone who believes in them.
Someone who notices the effort, not just the outcome.
Someone who reminds them that mistakes are part of learning, not the end of it.
If today felt hard, tomorrow is a new opportunity.
Keep encouraging them.
Keep believing in them.
Because one day they'll look back and remember that you never stopped believing, even when they doubted themselves.
And sometimes, that's the greatest gift we can give our children.
❤️

When we think about summer, we often think about keeping children learning.
But what about keeping them believing in themselves?
Confidence isn't built in one lesson.
It's built through hundreds of tiny moments.
Finishing a book.
Solving a puzzle.
Reading a recipe.
Helping measure ingredients.
Trying something new.
Celebrating effort instead of perfection.
These moments remind children that learning doesn't only happen in a classroom.
It happens everywhere.
The summer holidays are a chance to rest, recharge and make memories.
They're also a wonderful opportunity to keep confidence growing in small, enjoyable ways.
Because children who believe in themselves often return to school ready to embrace new challenges.
What's one activity your child enjoys that secretly helps them learn?

There are some phrases no parent likes hearing.
"I'm just rubbish at science."
"I'm never going to get it."
"I'm not clever enough."
The hardest part isn't the subject itself.
It's watching your child slowly stop believing in themselves.
The truth is, confidence and understanding often go hand in hand.
When something feels confusing, children can quickly start believing they're simply "not good" at it.
But one difficult topic doesn't define them.
One low test score doesn't define them.
One subject doesn't define them.
With the right encouragement, patience and support, confidence can grow again.
Sometimes all a child needs is someone who helps them see what they're capable of before they can see it themselves.
If your child has ever said they're "just bad" at a subject, know that they're not alone, and neither are you.

Summer hasn't even properly begun, yet many parents are already thinking ahead.
Will they settle into their new class?
Will they cope with the work?
Will they make friends?
Will they feel confident?
Whether your child is moving into a new year group, starting secondary school or preparing for GCSEs, those worries are completely normal.
Children don't just carry school bags into September.
They carry confidence.
Friendships.
Self-belief.
Excitement.
Sometimes nerves too.
One of the best things we can do over the summer is help them feel positive about what lies ahead.
Small conversations.
Little moments of encouragement.
Celebrating the progress they've already made.
Confidence grows long before the first day back.
If September is already on your mind, you're certainly not the only one.
What are you hoping your child feels when they walk into school on their first day back?

It's time for a little family challenge!
Can your child solve this before you?
🧠 I am an odd number.
Take away one letter and I become even.
What number am I?

No cheating!
We love little challenges like this because they get children thinking without it feeling like school.
Learning doesn't always have to happen at a desk.
Sometimes it starts with a simple question and a smile.
We'll reveal the answer in the comments later today.
Good luck!

You sit down with the best intentions.
"Let's just get this finished."
Five minutes later...
"I don't get it."
"I can't do it."
"This is too hard."
Before you know it, everyone's frustrated.
If this sounds familiar, please know you're not alone.
For some children, homework isn't difficult because they aren't capable.
It's difficult because they're tired.
Their brains work differently.
They've lost confidence.
Or they simply need information explained in a way that makes sense to them.
As parents, it's hard not to question whether you're doing enough.
The truth is, just sitting beside them, encouraging them and trying again tomorrow is often more valuable than you realise.
Progress doesn't always happen in one evening.
Sometimes it happens because a child knows someone believes in them.
Does homework feel like a battle in your house sometimes? You're among parents who understand.

Think back to when your child was little.
How many times a day did they ask...
"Why?"
"What happens if...?"
"Can we try it?"
Children are naturally curious.
They love exploring, experimenting and discovering how things work.
Sometimes, as they get older, learning can begin to feel more about getting the right answer than asking great questions.
That's why hands-on experiences can be so powerful.
When children can investigate, experiment and explore, they're not just learning science.
They're building confidence.
They're learning to think differently.
They're discovering that making mistakes is often the first step to finding the answer.
Our Science Workshops are all about encouraging curiosity, building confidence and showing children just how exciting learning can be.
Because the children who enjoy learning are often the ones who keep believing they can.
