Key Stage 1 received a very exciting delivery today! 😲

We loved reading some of the book for the first time and using our brand new crayons to create our own pictures! 🙂 We can't wait to dive deeper into the book next week!

Also, our Year 2 Guided Reading group got stuck into our Crayons poem for National Poetry Day and performed it to the rest of the class. We are very proud 🙂

Year 3 and 4 have been practising their Oracy skills. They worked together in groups, taking turns, listening and responding to each other and respecting each other's opinions whilst discussing which Oracy skill belongs in which category of physical, linguistic, cognitive or social and emotional. Everybody was very respectful and everybody had a turn at sharing their thoughts. Well done everybody!

Year 4 have been learning about the digestive system in science. We have set up an investigation to see which liquids cause the most damage to eggs over the space of a week, replicating the enamel that is our outer layer of our teeth. We are so excited to see the results! 🔬🧃🥛🥤🦷 🔍
