Rising Stars Pre School & Nursery

The toddlers enjoyed a lovely walk to Aldi this morning.
They had lots of fun choosing a few bits and bobs along the way, and were especially excited to find the bubbles and the adorable animal teddies. 🧸
It was a lovely opportunity for them to explore, make choices and enjoy some time out in the fresh air.

We wanted to let all our wonderful parents/carers know that our lovely Scarlett will be taking a little break from Rising Stars as she heads off on an exciting adventure to Australia! Scarlett’s last day with us will be Friday 4th September, and she WILL be returning back to her Rising Stars family end of November. Although we’ll miss her so much while she’s away, we’re incredibly excited for her to experience this amazing adventure and make lots of wonderful memories. This is not a goodbye, but a see you later! We can’t wait to welcome you back Scarlett, and hear all about your adventure’s.

This morning Preschool went on a Bear Hunt. We saw lots of brambles, sticks and leaves. We spotted a digger, some trucks and had a lovely snack along the way. It’s hungry work looking for Bears!

We also stopped at the park to take a run around and dig for treasure in the sandpit 🐻💚

Toddler Room have had a busy week going on their Bear Hunt! 🔍 🐻

The children listened to the story, and remembered to say “We have to go through it!”🧸

We then used our creative skills to remake our own Squelchy Mud, Swishy Grass and the Whoooing Snowtorm! 🟤🌾❄️

August Book of the Month – We’re Going on a Bear Hunt

This month, our babies, toddlers and preschool children will be enjoying We’re Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen. Throughout August, we’ll bring the story to life with exciting, hands-on activities including sensory play, messy exploration, nature walks, small world adventures, storytelling, music and movement, creative arts and crafts, and lots of opportunities to develop language and imagination. We can’t wait to go on a bear hunt together and discover all the wonderful learning opportunities this much-loved story inspires!
