✨ A lovely evening in our Beginner’s Class tonight! ✨
We’re delighted to say that our Beginner’s Class successfully completed their Waltz and, even better, had it travelling beautifully all the way around the room. 💃🕺
A special welcome and congratulations to our five new dancers, who joined us for the first time and did absolutely fabulously. It can be daunting stepping onto the dance floor for the first time, but everyone embraced the challenge with enthusiasm, and we were so impressed with how quickly they picked things up. 👏😊
We were also thrilled with the fantastic turnout, especially with the football being on! ⚽ Thank you to everyone who chose to spend their evening dancing with us. Your continued support means so much and allows us to keep these classes thriving.
🎥 Tonight’s video is now available on our YouTube channel so everyone can continue practising at home.
💃 Next week we’ll be starting a brand new dance – the Cha Cha Cha! If you’ve been thinking about giving dancing a try, this is the perfect time to join us. No partner or previous experience is necessary.

🌟Classes tonight are ON🌟
There appears to be a rumour going around that there’ll be a group of men chasing a ball around a field somewhere, this evening. ⚽️DON’T PANIC!
I’ve been assured that no balls will be chased before 9:00pm, meaning our Adult Beginner’s class is safe from any distractions. 😃
See you all at 7:30pm 💃🏻🕺🏽

Lovely to see some of our pupils enjoying dancing at Cottingham Civic Hall to the music of Hep to the Jive. 😃
We’ve got a ‘WhatsApp’ group to share details of local, and not so local, dances; if you’d like to be added to it, just ask. 💃🏻🕺🏽

🌟 Children’s Dance Classes at Rhythm & Dreams Dancing Centre 🌟
Looking for an activity that is fun, engaging and beneficial for your child’s development?
At Rhythm & Dreams, we offer professionally taught dance classes for children of all ages in a friendly, supportive environment. Our classes are carefully structured by age group, ensuring that every child experiences age-appropriate movement and learning opportunities while developing at a pace that suits their stage of growth. This approach helps children build confidence, coordination and strong technical foundations before progressing to more advanced skills.
Dance is one of the few activities that develops the whole child. Through regular classes, children improve their balance, coordination, posture, flexibility and fitness, while also developing important life skills such as confidence, concentration, discipline, teamwork and resilience.
Learning dance routines helps to strengthen memory, listening skills and musical awareness, while performing in front of others builds self-belief and communication skills. As children grow, they benefit from a clear progression pathway that allows them to build on existing skills, achieve personal goals and reach their full potential in a supportive environment. Most importantly, dance provides children with the opportunity to express themselves, make friends, have fun and experience the sense of achievement that comes from mastering new skills.
🏆 Rhythm & Dreams Dancing Centre is proud to be affiliated to the International Dance Teachers’ Association (IDTA), with pupils following the Association’s well-established syllabus. IDTA qualifications are OFQUAL accredited, providing recognised standards and clear progression pathways.
Whether your child simply wants to dance for fun, improve their confidence and fitness, or work towards examinations, performances and competitions, we have opportunities to suit every goal.
