For the last two years, many of our dancers have complained about the lack of dances in August. So this year we've decided to hold a tea dance on Sunday the 9th of August at the Civic hall in Cottingham, East Yorkshire.
The tea dance is a public event, all welcome, with 50/50 ballroom and sequence dancing from 2.30pm and free refreshments included in the ticket price.
The music is provided by live band Hep to the jive and features popular songs from the 20s to the recent charts, but all at the correct tempos.
