Yesterday F2 were extremely excited to have a very special Drawing Club session online with Greg Bottrill, who is an author, an Early Years teacher and consultant, and also the person that created Drawing Club. The children were so excited to share the story The Hairy Toe and went on to draw their own images with magical passwords and passcodes. We love using Drawing Club in F2 and the children engage so well with writing and drawing and letting their imaginations run wild.

F2 have enjoyed taking part in The Big Wiggle. We have stopped at different intervals throughout the day to exercise or dance. We have also encouraged moving in different ways outside in the garden.

The children in F2 have been challenging themselves to write secret messages for their friends and teachers. They put the messages into a "Travelling message box" which moved across part of the garden using a pulley. The children loved pulling the string to move the message box and were delighted to receive messages at the other end. This play lasted all afternoon until the box was bursting full with the children's writing.

F2 are excited to share the arrival of some eggs! They're currently keeping warm in an incubator. We've made predictions on what might hatch out of the eggs. Maybe a snake? Maybe a crocodile? Maybe a bird? Watch this space...

A group of children from our school choir were lucky enough to take part in a recording for 'Songs of Praise'. Giving up part of their Easter holiday to be involved in an afternoon of filming. We look forward to finding out the dates of the programme - watch this space. They sang beautifully - well done to everyone involved.
