Dyslexia doesn’t go away when you become an adult. And it’s never too late to get the right support.

A dyslexia assessment can help you understand yourself, find the right support and gain the validation you may have been missing for years.

Dyslexia isn’t always obvious as an adult.

Someone can be highly capable, articulate and successful, while still finding everyday tasks difficult, tiring or taking much longer than they need to.

You might be reading this and thinking, “That sounds like me.”

You might recognise some of these challenges in an employee.

It’s Dyslexia Awareness Month and to kick start October, Dyslexia Sparks was invited to the Leeds Beckett University Inclusion Conference to support educators in higher education.

Our training session focused on dyslexia awareness, helping educators better understand the barriers their students may face and, importantly, how they can support them more effectively.

We’ve delivered our first session to the Level 7 educators and are looking forward to returning in November for the Level 5 session.

Earlier this month, we delivered workplace training to the apprenticeship staff at JTL Training and we’ve received some brilliant feedback!

We’re excited to take part in Twinkl SEND’s first Festival of Inclusion.

Our dyslexia specialist Sam will explore how dyslexia can affect the way a person learns, processes information and experiences everyday tasks.

Through practical, interactive activities, Sam will give you a glimpse into the additional effort some tasks can require for a dyslexic learner - helping you understand why reading, spelling, writing, remembering instructions and working at speed can be challenging.

Because the right support matters 🧡 Our specialist team has extensive experience in dyslexia and other SpLDs, helping children feel comfortable, understood and supported throughout their assessment.

All our assessors hold the required Level 7 qualification or higher, alongside an Assessment Practising Certificate (APC) to provide a formal, recognised diagnosis of dyslexia.

Our support doesn’t stop at diagnosis. We’re here for you and your child for as long as you need us – we go above and beyond to ensure we do everything we can to help.
